Three months ago I finally found a webhost that met my demands without being excessively pricey (webhosting in Denmark is ridiculously expensive). That host is Dreamhost. Building an online music store requires lots of storage and recent versions of the software.
Although their email-based support does require some patience, everything else is just so damn neat. There's PHP5, MySQL 5, shell access over ssh, svn, tons of storage and bandwidth and a very easy but powerful web interface to configure everything from.
This site isn't (yet) running on their servers, but I'm planning to move when I get some time.
