Accessing EFI Firmware on Intel Macs (sort of)

18th January, 2006

It didn't take too long to figure out how to access the EFI menu in Apple's new Intel based Macs. Nakfull Propaganda (?) got the tricks. Actually, the steps shows how to alter the EFI into booting to some Intel provided EFI-software instead of osx. In any case, this will probably be good news for anyone trying to boot windows on them (although I'll be waiting for Darwine).
I'm a little confused about step 5 in the above guide. Wait about _10_ seconds? How can it take that long? 10 seconds after I boot my iBook, it's way into loading the OS itself.
