Answering some of the questions raised after Googles announcement that they will be offering 1GB of free, googleble mail accounts called Gmail, the Electronic Frontier Foundation has compiled an interesting article on some of the issues surrounding this service.
While I do find the concept of googling through my mail interesting to say the least, I also find it a little disturbing that one company will have provide such a big part of my online life. Google Watch already has an eye on the dominance in search technology. I will definitely register for an account at GMail to try the features but don't count on me putting everything I've got in their hands just yet.
